STUDIO - 1980 Here I am standing on the top of the east fireplace, above the perimetal scaffolding. The outside walls have been constructed in marine plywood, covered with paper and chicken wire, and are soon to be gunited with cement. The whole process was blood-letting from stapling and tying off all the wire to receive the finish coat. Most of this was done in the winter, which added to the misery of this endless preparation.
